Easter in Ghana

Easter in Ghana

Two-week round trip

It’s best to leave the cold season behind you. Enjoy the warm African sun! This two-week round trip takes you to beautiful places in nature. We dance, we move, we take time to recharge and slow down. Experience local celebrations and meet new people. We bring you to non-touristic places off the beaten track.

With this personal guided cultural tour, you support local residents and the BaoBeach Villages Eco-Lodge project. Any donations and part of the proceeds go to disadvantaged families in Ghana and orphans in Cameroon. This enables more children to attend school permanently!

Be part of village life, visit the local market and discover new recipes while cooking together. You can also expect: dancing with live percussion, a storyteller, campfire. • Continue to Aflao, a fishing village by the sea, right on the border with Togo, one night
  • Return to the Greater Accra region and the capital Accra, visiting the market, theater and beach, dance workshop. Three nights, then return flight

Jules Lazare Mekontchou’s dance workshops take place in different locations: in the village of Agave under palm trees, at the Easter festival or on the beach. Professional artists from Ghana accompany the workshops with live percussion and give drum lessons on request.

You can take part without any musical experience and sink into the captivating rhythms: feel an irresistible joy in movement, connect with the earth and enjoy nature all around.

Accommodation and Meals

Get to know the city and village life

We will spend the night in mid-range hotels that we have personally checked.

The rooms have air conditioning, TV, shower and toilet. We particularly pay attention to high hygiene standards. In the village of Agave, locals will cook three meals a day for you (vegetarian, fish / meat). At all the other places we will enjoy food at the hotel or surrounding restaurants. During our day trips we will have packed lunches. Please be careful with snacks from market stalls – not everyone can digest this type of local food. We supply ourselves with purchased water from canisters or bottles.

We will use a minibus with a driver for the transfer between the individual travel stops.
